Abe Flores has a treat for Maduro fans – the PDR Abe Flores 1975 Gran Reserva Maduro Double Magnum, a big-boned, rich-smoking San Andres 6×60 to round out this high-end line of PDR cigars. The Gran Reserva blend takes Nicaraguan Habano long fillers and mates them with Dominican Corojo, before binding them in Dominican Olor; but this Maduro version is finished with a dark and oily San Andres Maduro wrapper. These are select, well-aged tobaccos – so expect more of a medium bodied smoke that displays rich and full notes of baking spices, dark chocolate, coffee, cream, and earth.
