The cigar blend is composed of a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. The production takes place in Tabacalera La Alianza S.A., located in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.

The Le Carême cigar brand was introduced in 2016 and is named after the late well-known French chef Marie-Antoine Carême, and has received numerous impressive accolades from cigar reviewers worldwide, and for good reason. Jon Huber, one of the co-founders of Crowned Heads Cigars, mentioned in a press release about Le Carême Pastelitos "Releasing limited edition short-format cigars for the cold weather months when a quick but satisfying smoke is necessary.” Pastelitos LE 2023 is the latest in their Limited Edition short format smokes, and they’re as delicious as their namesake French dessert pastry.
